Bilbao Museum of Bull-Fighting

The Bullfighting Museum in the Vista Alegre bullring in Bilbao was opened on 9 June 1995.

The function of the Bilbao Bullfighting Museum is essentially educational. It comprises
eight general sequences of the History of Bullfighting.

The texts are illustrated with over a hundred photographs, heads of famous bulls, bullfighters outfits and other items including the costume of the picador Egaña, a sword used by “Cocherito”, the cape of “Costillares”, as well as books and models of former bull rings in Bilbao…
